Day 3: Afghanistan Future: Government Recognition_TeamD

Their recognition also depends on international engagement.

If the international organizations holding these consultations in Doha, it’s just to somehow facilitate the humanitarian assistance progress, to reach to the people who are in need.

Afghanistan’s taliban government is not officially recognised by any foreign country or international organization sice August 2021.
The main cause of Taliban-led government legitimacy is that they are all terrorists and for several years they have been killed lots of innocent people not only afghans also foreigners and no one can trust them.

I think it depends on how much the international community will push them.

Correct. As you mentioned those Communities are the creators and motivators of the chaos in the world.

In addition to humanitarian aid, international organizations should also work to exert high pressure on the Taliban. Because most of the time, these donations go to their friends, the Taliban, and they divide these donations among themselves.

But I don’t think so that the countries are going to help us , they just take their benefits and they’re doing just like a business.

Sure , and I think If the current government reopen the schools and universities for girls and let them to go work it will be good and maybe the international community and other countries will recognise them.

I think that they are not only in foreign policy; But they also have problems in their internal politics; Although their news has not leaked in the media; Because the media is generally under the Taliban’s censorship.

Yes the international community should push them like take them under pressure such as : stop giving money or meal to Afghanistan on that time maybe they will accept to reopen the schools and universities.

The Afghan people’s aspirations for a democratic and inclusive government should be taken into account when considering recognition.

The Taliban’s past actions and policies will undoubtedly influence countries’ decisions on recognition.

The main cause of Taliban-led government legitimacy can be: They didn’t match the international requirements such as human rights, women rights and international relations.
They are violeting human rights everyday, they are violeting women rights and knows women as a tool for growth machine nothing else.

So what do u think why the national community didn’t push Taliban.

If the international organizations stop giving food aid and financial aid, the Taliban will indirectly exert this pressure on the people and it is possible to force the international organizations to help again and again the Taliban will use these aid for their own benefit.

In my opinion, in situations where there is a civil war, internal conflicts because as we know there are different groups among Taliban some are flexible some not, it become more complex.

No, never at the first of my comment I said the example of a good government that a good government has the bellow Issue that the Taliban government has non of them. So we never said that Afghanistan future are in Taliban decision.

International organizations can significantly enhance Taliban’s government legitimacy. But unfortunately Taliban do what they want, they don’t care about what international organization want from them.

It’s two years that we’re still waiting to find a way to solve our problems and overcome with challenges but it’s going opposite and situation is getting worse day by day.
