Day 3: Afghanistan Future: Government Recognition_TeamA

I appreciate you bringing up this issue about America’s position towards Afghanistan. It seems like you’re suggesting that America’s actions not only fail to benefit other countries but also hinder the recognition of the Afghan government by other nations. Can you delve deeper into this matter? What specific concerns or problems arise from America’s approach towards Afghanistan in your opinion?

Hi

:grinning: *** Grateful for everyone’s openness. The topic has layers, but all thoughts are welcome. Who’d like to expand on it? *** :rabbit2:

Hello! The question you pose is quite complex and multifaceted. It’s important to note that I cannot speak for the entire nation of America, as opinions and motivations can vary. However, it’s not accurate to say that America as a whole does not want Afghanistan to be recognized. In fact, recognizing Afghanistan as a sovereign nation is crucial for stability and global cooperation. There may be specific reasons or geopolitical considerations in certain situations, but ultimately, international recognition is generally seen as a positive step towards peace and diplomatic engagement.

Yes, but still there was a hope for change.

In this discussion, we’re exploring the recognition of the Taliban-led government in Afghanistan and the challenges it presents. Our focus is on promoting an inclusive environment for girls’ education and the importance of upholding human rights and international laws. We intend to have fruitful discussions, reach consensus, and find innovative solutions to address the complexities and impact of the Taliban’s rule. Let’s work together to create a positive and constructive conversation!

A government that ignores the wishes and needs of the people and imposes compulsory policies on the people and deprives half of the society of education will not last.

That’s an interesting point you raised, about a government that ignores the wishes and needs of the people. The imposition of compulsory policies and the deprivation of education for half of society can indeed be problematic.

Could you provide more detail about this issue? What are some of the specific wishes and needs of the people that are being ignored? And how exactly is the government imposing these compulsory policies? Additionally, what are the consequences of depriving half of the society of education? Let’s explore these aspects further.

When you study the 4 decades civil war in Afghanistan you will find that the main reason of these wars were low capacity of comprehension from religion, politician, humanity, and human rights. Therefore I can say that main challenges faces when a country suffers from low capacity of comprehension people, it will be war and a racist citizens.

I agree
This is one of the reasons why Afghanistan has not been able to develop like neighboring countries and form a responsive government that serves the people.
Do you think that if the Taliban becomes official, their opinion will change?

from my idea, the plan of america is for long term, because who will come after taliban?? the old regime??
if the america want old regime, they will never remove them from the scene of power.
and also the taliban says that we are not depending on any countries but behind the scene, they have connection with USA and whatever they say, they will react like that and in front of people and media they are against USA. it is called tricky game and game with people and afghan people are facing this kind of games from start till now

Afghanistan cannot remain unknown to interact more with the world.

Because against America, the question arises as to why America should recognize the country it fought against for 20 years. America now loses its neutral position and says that our mission is over

In international law, maintaining diplomatic relations means recognition of that government.

afghanistan will be unknown till unclear time. because america does not have any interst to afghanistan anymore but they do not want to leave it to other countires and in fact we are not independent. on the other hand they want to celebrate the independent day

International non-recognition may lead to economic sanctions and restrictions as we witness nowadays, further exacerbating Afghanistan’s economic challenges. This can disrupt trade and financial transactions, harm the private sector, and hinder foreign direct investment.

So i think the international community have to not recognize the current government till they re open girls education and provide jobs for all people. especially whom the worked in past government.
I think the best option is global pressers on Taliban, I think they can accept on taliban to re open girls education and jobs for people.
They can emphasize globally and take discussions globally.

Precisely, no country should recognize this government unless they change their government, make living conditions easier, give the right to education to girls, provide work space for young people, etc.

This is why we can’t reach into a correct conclusion, everyone thinks Taliban are able to change and better their behavior. This is a waste of time and energy! Taliban obey the same rules and ideology especially about women. They all agree to keep women behind the walls. If they weren’t, why those who claim they are not extremists don’t raise their voices against all these crimes?

losing their neutral gaining many things that no one knows. one country coming to country to just fight against its own group and lose many afghan soliders because they like afghan people??
it is stupid
they were also tired of war and killing of afghan soliders due to unreasonable result

Will the world recognize the current approach of the Taliban?
