I understand that you are bringing up the possibility of the Taliban negotiating with different governments to gain recognition for their government in Afghanistan. As a facilitator, it’s important for us to explore both the pros and cons of this potential scenario. What do you see as some advantages and disadvantages of the Taliban reaching the main stage in the international community through negotiations? Let’s consider all perspectives.
Talking to them has been experimented before. They always say we are going to allow activities which don’t go against shariah.they never give us a good and satisfying explanation of what is shariah.
In other hand they only listen to their Khalifa ( Mullah Hebat) and no body else.
Maybe we need to find him and talk to him;)
Agreed! Recognition of Taliban can make everything even worse.
Currently, there are many governments that, like the Taliban, are accused of totalitarianism by the opposition, and none of the democratic standards and basic human rights, such as equal rights of women and political freedoms, are observed in them, and all of them also consider themselves from the same society. They know internationally
I appreciate your input on this matter. It seems like you’re highlighting the issue of governments that are accused of totalitarianism and the lack of democratic standards and basic human rights in these regimes. As a facilitator, I encourage everyone to consider all angles. What are some potential pros and cons, merits and demerits, or advantages and disadvantages of this situation? Let’s explore the different perspectives and factors at play here.
There is only one solution if the countries like china or Japan intervent here. As the power has devided so there should one onther country to be against USA and support Afghanistan. Who think about the people not the taliban. Who could agreed the international community to take a serious decision about the Afghanistan. Otherwise the USA who is the most powerful country dont let the international community to take an actions, who leads the current situation of Afghanistan.
first solution
America and its allies can recognize the Taliban without any conditions and only by confirming its “effective control” over the country; A situation that seems unlikely considering the Taliban’s unwillingness to fulfill democratic standards and human rights.
How can you elaborate it with more details?
in this case I totally agree to you if the Taliban successfully persuades multiple governments to recognize its government in Afghanistan through negotiations, it would indeed mark a significant achievement for them in terms of international recognition. Recognition by governments implies legitimacy and acceptance in the international community. However, it is important to note that the Taliban’s ability to govern effectively and maintain stability within Afghanistan will be crucial for long-term acceptance and cooperation. Additionally, recognition by governments does not necessarily imply endorsement of the Taliban’s ideology or practices but rather acknowledges their de facto authority in the country.
I think the inclusivity within the government will improve confidence of people over government, means that each nation will their self in the government.
second solution
The United States could recognize a hybrid power-sharing regime. But considering the Taliban’s resistance to such power sharing and also the possibility of the instability of such a regime, this form of identification seems unlikely.
You mean it’s us who think they are evil, but actually they are not?
yes agree and these scenarios is the identification of a hybrid regime in which power is divided, but considering the Taliban’s resistance to the division of power and also the possibility of the instability of such a regime, this form of identification seems unlikely. The most likely scenario is that the US will enter into a series of extensive negotiations with the Taliban, subject to the Taliban fulfilling some special conditions. In this scenario, the issue of identification is used as a carrot and encourages the Taliban to carry out some fundamental reforms.
Here the only solution is that another countries should be raised against USA and iits Allies. Otherwise if USA make a decision the Taliban will be gained ligetimacy without considering any rules lr criteria.
I somehow agree with your point of view, but our situation is not the same. We were waiting for a drastic change ( positive changes) peace, important and education, equality. We were hoping for something worthy of life continuation. Not this! So please stop comparing.
but the other countries can not stand against USA.
if they stand, usa will make something that they can not stand on their legs anymore,
the best example is pakistan.
but on the other hand the United States could enter into a series of wide-ranging negotiations with the Taliban on the issue of recognition, subject to the Taliban fulfilling certain conditions. This is the most likely form of identification in the short and medium term, so that the US and its allies try to use the identification issue as a carrot and encourage the Taliban to make some fundamental reforms.
America is a powerful country in the world that no one can stand against it
Precisely, the committees should be established as soon as possible and the problems of the Afghan people should be discussed face to face with the Taliban and appropriate solutions should be considered. After the people’s problems are solved, the Taliban government should be recognized!
The main problem is this that they’re not agree to sit and talk.
