Women's Education in Afghanistan_Team B1D

I completely agree. The lack of education among many Taliban members likely contributes to their inability to grasp the true value of knowledge and education. They fail to see that education is essential for individual and societal growth, acting as a beacon that guides people out of ignorance and towards progress.

Absolutely, women and girls have made half of the society and therefore have the same rights as men.

The education of girls is emphasized by Islamic orders, the place of girls’ education can be sought in the national and social interests of a society and country, which is manifested in medicine, police, education, art and culture. Education is one of the necessities of family and individual life; Therefore, the expectation of the Afghan people is that the Taliban will pay attention to this matter and avoid any tyranny of vote and prejudice, and in order to secure and guarantee the national interests of the Afghan people, they will reopen girls’ schools and issue permission for the education of Afghan girls.

Another reason is that, Taliban have a completely wrong understanding of Islam and its rules. They think that they are the true followers of Islam and they are true Muslims. Taliban think, Islam is against the girls and women work and education.

It’s clear that education is crucial for progress and development. The Taliban’s resistance to educational growth in Afghanistan stems from their desire to maintain control and prevent societal advancement. Their restrictive beliefs about women further compound this issue, as they view women as subordinate and not deserving of the same opportunities as men.

Completely right, The real Islam with its valuable rules always supported women in different parts of their life form past till now.

The government of Afghanistan is obliged to provide educational facilities for students. Establishing schools and educational centers in different parts of the country, especially in remote areas where access to schools is not possible. Encouraging and supporting female students to enroll in schools using various methods and most importantly ensuring the security of schools and female students can be effective factors that increase the presence of girls in educational institutions.

So true, Taliban know that if the women of a society become literate, they will change the society and the people mind with their thoughts. They fear the advancement of women.

Every one should try to find a way that work for them. Fear of Taliban is the biggist problem. Noone in Afghanistan want to limite thier girls or band even some of Taliban but they have no courage to stand against taliban

Another reason regarding the mentioned issue is that, Taliban use the matter of closing school as a tool for some political issues against another foreign countries and they have some reason behind it like: the world should know and accept them as a complete and official government.

Let’s not deny that, the wrong thoughts and beliefs of some people also supported Taliban to close schools for Afghan women and girls.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It’s true that fear of the Taliban is a significant issue. While many people in Afghanistan do not want to limit their girls’ opportunities, the prevailing fear and lack of courage to stand up against the Taliban’s restrictions make it difficult to bring about change. Everyone needs to find their own way to navigate these challenges and work towards a future where girls can have the same opportunities as boys.

For sure, Fear of oppressions is a sin, Afghan people shouldn’t be silent regarding this vital issue, and all of we must be looking for some solution for it.

Definitely another reason for the issue is that the Taliban use school closures as a political tool against foreign countries. They aim to gain international recognition as a legitimate and official government through such actions.

Unfortunately, continuation of this situation leads the people and society to disaster, the deprivation of girls and women from education shows that a dark and terrible future is waiting for us.

Your point about the Taliban’s lack of understanding of the value of education is compelling. Their limited literacy and comprehension may indeed contribute to their policies against girls’ schooling.

Do you think there are any other significant factors influencing their decision to close schools?

I completely agree. Denying education to girls and women not only hinders their personal development but also stunts the progress of society as a whole. This situation indeed paints a bleak picture for the future.

For sure, without the reasons that I mentioned before, maybe their will be another reasons and factors behind it.

Definitely, behind closing schools there are another Internal and external factors and groups that they are against the progress of Afghanistan. Unfortunately they always support Taliban in different part and they are working on their political benefits and the future of Afghan people is not important for them.

If we want the traditional society of Afghanistan to remove educational obstacles from girls and allow them to enjoy the right to education as human beings, we must change the closed and traditional mentality of the people through advertising and raising public awareness. Let us believe that literate and educated women can be useful and effective in different parts of social life in the society.
