I believe that the Taliban follow a very strict version of Islamic law that limits women’s rights and education.

Actually stopping girls from going to school helps the Taliban stay in control of the society as they believe.

There are some traditional and old beliefs which don’t support girls going to school and the Taliban enforce these beliefs.

It has been almost three years since the gates of schools have been closed to Afghan girls, and in my opinion, one of the reasons for closing the gates of girls’ schools by the Taliban is extreme belief.

Hello Farangis! You’ve raised a critical point. The extreme beliefs and traditional values enforced by the Taliban have indeed played a significant role in restricting girls’ access to education. It’s been an incredibly challenging time for Afghan girls, but by discussing and exploring online learning technologies, we might find ways to circumvent these restrictions and provide educational opportunities. Let’s work together to create positive changes for the future of women’s education in Afghanistan!
