Media Censor Crisis in Post 2021 Afghanistan-Testing Team C

I do agree, the people that are in foreign countries are able to broadcast the reality of nowadays situation with out any limitation.

Unfortunately, in Afghanistan, there is no more freedom of speech, all media are heavily censored, all programs are checked by the ruling regime, no content is published without the permission of the ruling regime. Journalists engage in self-censorship and criticism is considered a crime. Even the common people do not have the courage to criticize, otherwise they will be persecuted and harassed by the ruling administration and its intelligence agency.

why the freedom of speech is important in democracy?

These restrictions on media and freedom of speech have raised concerns about the Taliban’s commitment to human rights and their ability to govern effectively in a modern society. The international community has called on the Taliban to respect freedom of expression and allow journalists to work without fear of reprisals.

it all depends, but I think when it feels scary to jump, that is exactly when you jump, otherwise you end up staying in the same place your whole life.

Following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan in August 2021, there have been reports of media censorship and restrictions on freedom of speech. The Taliban has reportedly shut down some media outlets and imposed restrictions on journalists, including limiting their access to information and preventing them from reporting on certain topics.

The only way that people show their feelings is by expressing the issues. But unfortunately, the current regime has hardened it from the people. Well, in a country, a person cannot express his opinion, he cannot express his feelings, he is like an inanimate object that only has breath. It kills and many people of Afghanistan experience such a situation in this terrible prison whose future is uncertain

Exactly also afghanistan’s economy is in shambles. Numerous thousands of employment have been eliminated as malnutrition has increased.

Yes, absolutely, the media is for informing the people, and because all the truth and speech is about them, which they do not want people to know, it is‌ consership for the same reason.
